Thanks to Bill Ward, our neighborhood master carpenter, for building and Chris Carpenter for volunteering to manage our neighborhood library, we now have a convenient way to share books. This picture was taken at the grand opening of the Library.

We are officially “Little Free Library” #47310. one of over 50,000 registered Little Free Library book exchanges in all 50 U.S. states and over 70 countries around the world.

Q.: What is a Little Free Library?
A:  A Little Free Library is a “take a book, return a book” free book exchange. They come in many shapes and sizes, but the most common version is a small wooden box of books on a post.  Anyone may take a book or bring a book to share.  littlefreelibrary.org

A: Yes! The closest one to us in at the corner of Whately & Deerfield Drives to the west side of Spear St.
